Transient Landscapes (Chicago, 2016-2021)

Movement is a key faction to my arts practice and research. Living in Chicago, most of my time is spent commuting by bus, train or walking. I am fixated on this collective nature and shared means for moving through public space; how it relates to our identity or daily routines. I turn my lens toward the fleeting moments of beauty and ambiguity, situated within close-contact and isolated modes of transport. The temporary state of these urban scenarios are dreamlike to me, short-lived and puzzling.
